Carry On Digging

Thanks to Guy N here are some work in progress pictures of the excavations around Gasworks Bridge.  You can see that the machines have been kept busy and we look forward to being able to have the track relayed to allow us to go to Weston.

The removed rails are waiting patiently to be married with the sleepers to reinstate the track.

 Here we are looking south with the ballast pile for the drains and sub base waiting it's turn to be moved in to position.

 The grading work along the sides continues.

The next Big Working Weekend is the 14/15th July which may get a big turnout or many no-shows depending on the football results over the next few days.
