And Then They Were (Almost) Gone

The planned works under the bridge are almost finished and part of the trackbed is already waiting for ballast and track.

Firstly here is the run down from the railhead to the bridge.  In the foreground is the sleeper stack at the current end of the running line.

The cover over the sewer is in place. 
The cutting sides have been re-profiled and gabions installed to retain the earth.

The bridge is still having a few cosmetic touches to finish the painting.
