Hang 'em High Those Pearly Gates

Whilst some people graft away under the hot sun others are away on holidays.  So it was with the Thursday Gang who continue to slave away under the scorching hot sun in Oswestry.  It's not that often that you can say that but it's true!

Recent work by the team has been to re-hang the overhauled gates at Oswestry.  Many hours of work have gone into their restoration.  The final act was to position the gates and adjust the hinges so that everything opens and closes as it should.
Here is Steve checking the alignment and the extra function of keeping Tom out.
Steve and Tom make the final adjustments after triple checking everything.

Here are the intrepid workers who hung up the pearly white gates: Alan, Noel, Steve and Tom, take a bow chaps.

These ongoing works are all part of the Oswestry station improvements.  Thanks to Andy G for the pictures

Until next time.
